To ensure the success of our visit, here are a few basic preparations we would need for our restaurant clients to carry out before our arrival.

The main area of concern is the canteen. Canteens attract the creepiest crawlies and may need a little extra care and attention during the application process.

  • To make sure the canteen area gets the most from our visit we ask that the cupboards are cleaned and cleared of all food products and eating utensils. Food items and drawers can be temporarily placed on counter tops.
  • A cover should be placed over the items temporarily stored on counter tops.
  • Open food items should be placed in the refrigerator or freezer.
  • Access around the perimeter of rooms is necessary in order to service along the wall-floor junction.
  • Checks should be made for pest infestations in stored food items such as flour etc. Dispose of anything that you think may be contaminated.
  • Place all canned food items in a box.
  • Remove all dishes, eating and cooking utensils and drinking glasses and cups from the cupboards and place them in a box.
  • Move the boxed items to an area that won't be subjected to the exterminator's activity
  • The interior of all drawers and cupboards should be appropriately cleaned.
  • Shift refrigerators and freezers and clean behind and underneath.
  • Stoves should be degreased and appropriately cleaned.

Before beginning this job, targeted areas should be cleaned to ensure that no spillage or residue is left on walls, floor or along wall-floor junction.

Contact-Based Insecticide Spray Application

Methodology: For the reasons of safety and regulations, only suitable surfaces and areas will be treated with insecticide. In the Canteen, Cabinets, Drawers, Underside of Tables & Chairs and surrounding area may be some of the places where the treatment may be applied. Cracks and Gaps may be injected with the insecticide. The insecticides have a very good residual control and affects pests upon contact and not by smell, odor or vapors’. The insecticides retain their characteristics longer and maintain their effectiveness when they are applied to clean surfaces. So it is important that wherever Pests are typically seen, those surfaces are cleaned prior to the insecticide application.

We have 100% success rate in eliminating pests from any area in and around a building structure. After initial application of rodent control measures, it takes about 3-5 weeks for the entire population to disappear.

Our TERMINEX INITIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM (TITP) for cockroaches provides two clean out treatments within fourteen days of each other. This is due to the fact that cockroaches deposit their eggs at the point of death; the insecticide has no effect on the eggs; which hatch in 14 days producing approximately 30 – 45 babies each.
